At Off Grid Palace, we understand that receiving your equipment safely and on time is an important part of your purchase.

Because offgridpalace.com offers products from multiple manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, shipping methods and delivery procedures may vary depending on the product, destination, warehouse location, size, weight, and availability.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed and delivered and what customers should expect when receiving standard parcel and freight shipments.

By placing an order through Off Grid Palace, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy together with our Terms and Conditions and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. WHERE WE SHIP

Off Grid Palace primarily ships within the United States.

Shipping availability may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, supplier, carrier, and destination.

Certain products may not be available for shipment to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain remote locations.

Some manufacturers or suppliers may also impose geographic restrictions on where their products can be sold or delivered.

Any known material shipping restrictions will be communicated when reasonably possible before fulfillment.

2. ORDER PROCESSING

After you place an order, you will generally receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

An order confirmation means that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has shipped or that inventory has been finally confirmed by the applicable manufacturer or supplier.

Orders may require processing before shipment.

Processing may include:

  • Payment authorization;
  • Fraud-prevention review;
  • Inventory confirmation;
  • Manufacturer or distributor processing;
  • Warehouse preparation;
  • Freight scheduling;
  • Address verification; and
  • Other reasonable order-verification procedures.

Processing times vary by product and supplier.

3. SHIPPING FROM MANUFACTURERS AND DISTRIBUTORS

Some products sold by Off Grid Palace may be shipped directly to you by a manufacturer, distributor, supplier, warehouse, or other fulfillment partner.

As a result, products contained within the same order may:

  • Ship separately;
  • Originate from different locations;
  • Arrive on different dates;
  • Use different carriers; or
  • Have separate tracking information.

Receiving one part of an order does not necessarily mean the remainder of the order has been lost or delayed.

4. ESTIMATED SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIMES

Any shipping, processing, transit, or delivery timeframe displayed on the Website is an estimate unless expressly identified as a guaranteed delivery date.

Delivery estimates may be affected by circumstances including:

  • Product availability;
  • Manufacturer processing times;
  • Supplier inventory;
  • Warehouse location;
  • Customer location;
  • Freight scheduling;
  • Carrier delays;
  • Severe weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Road conditions;
  • Holiday volume;
  • Supply-chain disruptions;
  • Labor disruptions;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Incorrect delivery information; and
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Off Grid Palace will make reasonable efforts to provide available shipping information but cannot guarantee carrier-controlled delivery dates unless a specific written guarantee is expressly provided.

5. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges, when applicable, will generally be displayed during checkout or communicated before the order is completed.

Certain oversized, remote-area, special-order, or freight shipments may require additional shipping arrangements.

If an unexpected material shipping charge arises before fulfillment, we will attempt to contact you before proceeding where appropriate.

Customers will not be charged undisclosed shipping or handling fees without authorization where authorization is required.

6. STANDARD PARCEL SHIPPING

Smaller products may be delivered through standard parcel carriers.

When tracking information is available, it may be provided by email, through your customer account, or by the applicable carrier.

Carrier tracking information may take time to become active after a shipping label is created.

A shipping notification or tracking number does not necessarily mean that the carrier has physically received the package at the moment the notification is generated.

7. FREIGHT SHIPPING

Large, heavy, or high-value products may be shipped by freight carrier rather than standard parcel service.

Products that may require freight delivery include certain:

  • Generators;
  • Solar equipment;
  • Battery systems;
  • Power stations;
  • Mini-split systems;
  • Water systems;
  • Outdoor equipment; and
  • Other oversized or heavy products.

Freight shipments operate differently from standard package deliveries and may require customer participation in scheduling and receiving the shipment.

8. CURBSIDE FREIGHT DELIVERY

Unless otherwise stated, standard freight delivery may be curbside delivery.

Curbside delivery generally means the carrier delivers the shipment to the curb or another reasonably accessible location at the delivery address.

Standard freight delivery does not necessarily include:

  • Inside delivery;
  • Garage delivery;
  • Placement inside a home or building;
  • Installation;
  • Assembly;
  • Removal of packaging;
  • Removal of old equipment;
  • Moving equipment to its final installation location; or
  • Specialized equipment beyond the services included with the shipment.

Customers should make appropriate arrangements to move heavy merchandise from the delivery point after delivery.

9. LIFTGATE SERVICE

Some freight deliveries may require or include liftgate service.

A liftgate is equipment attached to a delivery truck that assists in lowering heavy freight from the truck to ground level.

Whether liftgate service is included depends upon the carrier, product, supplier, and delivery arrangement.

Additional charges may apply for liftgate or other specialized delivery services where they were not included with the original shipping arrangement.

10. FREIGHT DELIVERY APPOINTMENTS

Freight carriers may contact you by telephone, text message, or email to schedule a delivery appointment.

For this reason, it is important to provide an accurate:

  • Telephone number;
  • Email address; and
  • Delivery address.

Customers are responsible for responding to reasonable carrier communications regarding delivery.

Failure to respond or be available for an agreed delivery appointment may result in storage, redelivery, reconsignment, or other carrier charges.

Where such charges result from circumstances within the customer’s control, the customer may be responsible for those charges to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. INSPECT YOUR FREIGHT BEFORE SIGNING

Please inspect freight shipments carefully before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.

Before accepting a freight shipment, examine the pallet, boxes, wrapping, and visible portions of the product for signs of damage.

Look for:

  • Crushed boxes;
  • Torn packaging;
  • Holes or punctures;
  • Dents;
  • Broken pallets;
  • Missing packages;
  • Broken straps;
  • Water damage;
  • Exposed equipment; or
  • Other visible signs of mishandling.

If damage is visible, do not simply sign the delivery receipt as though the shipment arrived without damage.

Ask the driver to document the damage on the delivery receipt.

Take photographs of the damage before the driver leaves whenever reasonably possible.

Photograph:

  • The entire shipment;
  • Damaged packaging;
  • Damaged product areas;
  • The pallet;
  • Shipping labels; and
  • The delivery receipt showing the damage notation.

This documentation can be extremely important when filing a freight damage claim.

12. SEVERELY DAMAGED FREIGHT

If a shipment appears severely damaged, contact Off Grid Palace as soon as possible for guidance.

Depending upon the circumstances, refusing the damaged shipment may be appropriate.

However, customers should not refuse an undamaged shipment simply because they have changed their mind about the purchase.

Unauthorized refusal of an undamaged shipment may be treated as a return and may result in return freight, restocking, or other applicable charges.

13. CONCEALED DAMAGE

Not all freight damage is visible at delivery.

If you discover damage after opening the package:

  1. Stop unpacking or installing the product.
  2. Photograph the damage.
  3. Photograph the packaging.
  4. Retain all boxes, pallets, labels, and packing materials.
  5. Contact Off Grid Palace promptly.

Do not discard packaging until the matter has been resolved.

Freight carriers and manufacturers may have short reporting periods for concealed damage, so prompt notification is important.

14. WRONG PRODUCT OR MISSING ITEMS

If you receive the wrong product or believe part of your shipment is missing, contact Off Grid Palace promptly.

Please retain all packaging and provide, when requested:

  • Your order number;
  • Photographs of the product received;
  • Model number;
  • Serial number;
  • Shipping label;
  • Packing slip; and
  • Photographs of the packaging.

Please do not install or use a product that you believe was shipped incorrectly until the issue has been reviewed.

15. SHIPPING ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Before submitting your order, please verify:

  • Street address;
  • Apartment, suite, or unit number;
  • City;
  • State;
  • ZIP code;
  • Telephone number; and
  • Email address.

For freight deliveries, customers should also consider whether the delivery location is reasonably accessible to a large delivery vehicle.

16. ADDRESS CHANGES AFTER AN ORDER IS PLACED

Contact Off Grid Palace immediately if you need to change a shipping address.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped.

Manufacturers, suppliers, and freight carriers may charge an address correction, reconsignment, rerouting, or redelivery fee after a shipment has been dispatched.

If such a charge results from a customer-requested address change or incorrect address supplied during checkout, the customer may be responsible for the charge.

For fraud-prevention purposes, certain high-value orders may not be eligible for shipping-address changes after payment authorization.

17. P.O. BOXES

Large products and freight shipments generally cannot be delivered to a P.O. box.

A physical delivery address may be required.

Certain standard parcel products may be eligible for P.O. box delivery depending upon the carrier.

18. REMOTE OR LIMITED-ACCESS LOCATIONS

Additional charges or delivery restrictions may apply to certain remote or limited-access locations.

Examples may include:

  • Islands;
  • Rural areas;
  • Farms or properties with restricted road access;
  • Construction sites;
  • Campgrounds;
  • Storage facilities;
  • Certain commercial facilities;
  • Locations requiring specialized vehicles; or
  • Areas outside a carrier’s standard delivery network.

If special delivery arrangements are required, additional charges may apply.

19. ACCESS TO THE DELIVERY LOCATION

For freight deliveries, customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location can reasonably accommodate the carrier’s vehicle.

Customers should consider:

  • Narrow roads;
  • Low bridges;
  • Weight restrictions;
  • Steep driveways;
  • Unpaved roads;
  • Locked gates;
  • Low-hanging trees or wires;
  • Restricted entrances; and
  • Other obstacles.

If the carrier cannot safely access the delivery location, alternative delivery arrangements may be necessary.

20. MISSED FREIGHT DELIVERIES

If a customer schedules a freight delivery but is unavailable to receive it, the carrier may assess:

  • Redelivery fees;
  • Storage fees;
  • Detention charges; or
  • Other applicable charges.

Customers may be responsible for these charges when they result from a missed scheduled delivery or another circumstance within the customer’s reasonable control.

21. DELIVERY SIGNATURES

Certain high-value shipments may require an adult signature or other confirmation of delivery.

Signature requirements may vary according to the product, carrier, manufacturer, supplier, or transaction risk.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that an appropriate person is available to receive shipments requiring a signature.

22. TRACKING INFORMATION

When tracking information is available, Off Grid Palace or the applicable fulfillment provider may send it to the email address associated with your order.

Some freight carriers use shipment numbers, PRO numbers, or other freight-specific tracking systems rather than standard parcel tracking numbers.

Tracking information is provided by the carrier and may occasionally be delayed or inaccurate.

23. LOST PACKAGES

If tracking information indicates that a package has not moved for an unusual period or appears to have been lost in transit, contact Off Grid Palace.

We may work with the applicable carrier, manufacturer, supplier, or fulfillment partner to investigate the shipment.

Carrier investigations may require time to complete.

24. PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED

If carrier tracking shows a package as delivered but you cannot locate it, please:

  • Check around the delivery location;
  • Check with other household members;
  • Check with neighbors where appropriate;
  • Check mailrooms, reception areas, garages, or other designated delivery areas; and
  • Contact the carrier if appropriate.

If the shipment still cannot be located, contact Off Grid Palace promptly so we can determine what additional steps may be available.

25. SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS

Shipping damage should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

We may require photographs, delivery documents, packaging, serial numbers, and other information to assist with a carrier or supplier claim.

Customers should retain the damaged product and all packaging until instructed otherwise.

Do not dispose of damaged merchandise while a shipping claim is pending unless authorized.

26. INSTALLATION BEFORE INSPECTION

Do not install a product that appears damaged or incorrect.

Before installation, verify:

  • Product model;
  • Product condition;
  • Major components;
  • Compatibility; and
  • Any obvious shipping damage.

Installation, modification, disposal of packaging, or continued use after discovering a problem may make it more difficult to establish that damage occurred during shipping and may affect remedies available under applicable supplier, manufacturer, carrier, or return policies.

27. ORDER DELAYS

If an order is materially delayed, we will make reasonable efforts to provide updated information when it becomes available to us.

Manufacturer and supplier inventory can change quickly, particularly for high-demand equipment.

If a significant delay occurs before shipment, available options may depend upon the product and supplier.

28. BACKORDERS

Occasionally, a product may become backordered after an order is submitted.

If this occurs, we may provide an estimated availability date when one is available.

Customers may be given available options regarding the delayed product, subject to manufacturer or supplier conditions and our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

29. MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS

An order containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments.

Different products may originate from different warehouses or manufacturers and may use different carriers.

You may therefore receive multiple tracking numbers and delivery dates for a single Off Grid Palace order.

30. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Off Grid Palace is not responsible for delivery delays caused by events reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fires, floods, transportation interruptions, carrier disruptions, labor disputes, supply-chain interruptions, governmental actions, emergencies, or similar events.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

31. RETURNS AFTER DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery issues are separate from ordinary product returns.

If your product arrived correctly and without shipping damage but you later decide to return it, please review our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy before shipping anything back.

Do not send merchandise back to the address shown on the shipping label unless specifically instructed to do so.

The appropriate return destination may be a different manufacturer, supplier, distributor, or warehouse.

32. CUSTOMER SUPPORT

If you have questions concerning your shipment or delivery, please contact Off Grid Palace using the contact information provided on offgridpalace.com.

For faster assistance with an existing shipment, please have the following available:

  • Order number;
  • Customer name;
  • Product ordered;
  • Tracking or freight number, if available;
  • Description of the issue; and
  • Photographs if the shipment is damaged.
33. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Off Grid Palace may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy periodically to reflect changes in carriers, suppliers, fulfillment procedures, Website operations, or applicable requirements.

Updates will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

The shipping terms applicable to an existing order will generally be those applicable when the order was placed, together with any product-specific shipping terms disclosed in connection with that transaction, except where changes are required by law or agreed with the customer.

34. CONTACT INFORMATION

Questions regarding shipping or delivery may be submitted using the contact information provided on offgridpalace.com.
