WARRANTY POLICY

Last Updated: September 23, 2026

At Off Grid Palace, we want our customers to purchase off-grid, backup-power, homesteading, and outdoor-living equipment with confidence.

Many products available through offgridpalace.com are manufactured by established third-party brands and may include warranties provided directly by their respective manufacturers.

This Warranty Policy explains the relationship between Off Grid Palace, the customer, and the manufacturer when a product is covered by a manufacturer warranty.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy.

1. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Products sold through Off Grid Palace may include a manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Warranty coverage varies substantially by manufacturer and product.

Depending upon the product, a manufacturer’s warranty may cover certain:

  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Defective components;
  • Electrical or mechanical failures;
  • Workmanship defects;
  • Replacement parts;
  • Repair services;
  • Product replacement; or
  • Other conditions specified by the manufacturer.

The length, scope, exclusions, and remedies available under a warranty are determined by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Customers should review the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to their particular product.

2. OFF GRID PALACE AS RETAILER

Off Grid Palace operates as a retailer of products manufactured or supplied by third parties.

Unless Off Grid Palace expressly provides a separate written warranty for a particular product, warranties advertised as manufacturer warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and not independently created by Off Grid Palace.

Off Grid Palace may assist customers with identifying applicable warranty information, obtaining proof of purchase, locating manufacturer contact information, or communicating with a manufacturer or supplier where appropriate.

Such assistance does not create an additional Off Grid Palace warranty or expand the manufacturer’s warranty.

Nothing in this Policy excludes any warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARRANTY TERMS

Because Off Grid Palace sells products from multiple manufacturers, there is no single warranty period applicable to every product sold through the Website.

For example, warranty terms applicable to:

  • Solar panels;
  • Solar inverters;
  • Battery systems;
  • Portable power stations;
  • Generators;
  • Mini-split systems;
  • Water filtration equipment;
  • Grills;
  • Fire pits; and
  • Other off-grid equipment

may differ significantly.

The warranty applicable to a particular product is the warranty offered by that product’s manufacturer unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by Off Grid Palace.

Where available, manufacturer warranty information may be displayed on the product page, included with the product, linked through the Website, or obtained directly from the manufacturer.

4. WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Some manufacturers require customers to register their products to obtain certain warranty benefits or to simplify future warranty claims.

After receiving your product, review the manufacturer’s documentation to determine whether registration is required.

Registration may require information such as:

  • Customer name;
  • Purchase date;
  • Product model;
  • Serial number;
  • Installation date;
  • Installer information;
  • Off Grid Palace order or invoice number; and
  • Proof of purchase.

Customers are responsible for completing manufacturer registration requirements within any applicable deadline.

We recommend retaining confirmation of any warranty registration.

5. KEEP YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE

Customers should retain their Off Grid Palace:

  • Order confirmation;
  • Invoice;
  • Receipt;
  • Model number;
  • Serial number; and
  • Manufacturer documentation.

Manufacturers may require proof of purchase before providing warranty service.

If you lose your Off Grid Palace order documentation, contact us and we may be able to provide another copy from our available transaction records.

6. SERIAL NUMBERS

Do not remove, alter, obscure, or damage a product’s serial number or manufacturer identification label.

Manufacturers frequently use serial numbers to determine:

  • Product identity;
  • Manufacturing date;
  • Warranty eligibility;
  • Warranty expiration;
  • Product configuration; and
  • Whether a product is subject to a recall or service bulletin.

Removal or alteration of identifying information may affect manufacturer warranty coverage.

7. WARRANTY CLAIMS

If you believe your product has a defect covered by warranty, contact Off Grid Palace or the applicable manufacturer according to the product’s warranty instructions.

Depending upon the manufacturer, customers may be required to provide:

  • Proof of purchase;
  • Order number;
  • Product model;
  • Serial number;
  • Description of the problem;
  • Photographs;
  • Videos;
  • Error codes;
  • Installation information;
  • Maintenance records; or
  • Results of troubleshooting procedures.

The manufacturer may require additional information before determining whether a condition qualifies for warranty coverage.

8. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Depending upon the product and manufacturer, a warranty claim may involve:

  1. Initial troubleshooting;
  2. Verification of purchase;
  3. Verification of the product serial number;
  4. Photographs or video of the problem;
  5. Technical diagnosis;
  6. Inspection by an authorized technician;
  7. Replacement of a component;
  8. Repair of the product;
  9. Replacement of the product; or
  10. Another remedy provided under the manufacturer’s warranty.

The manufacturer determines the remedy available under its warranty unless applicable law provides otherwise.

9. TROUBLESHOOTING

Some manufacturers require troubleshooting before approving a warranty claim.

Troubleshooting may include:

  • Checking electrical connections;
  • Reviewing error codes;
  • Testing components;
  • Resetting equipment;
  • Checking batteries;
  • Verifying configuration;
  • Reviewing installation;
  • Performing diagnostic procedures; or
  • Communicating with manufacturer technical support.

Customers should follow reasonable manufacturer troubleshooting instructions that can be performed safely.

Do not perform repairs, electrical work, disassembly, or other procedures that require specialized qualifications unless appropriately qualified to do so.

10. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

Certain products may require professional or authorized installation.

Examples may include certain:

  • Generators;
  • Transfer switches;
  • Solar systems;
  • Battery storage systems;
  • Inverters;
  • Mini-split systems;
  • Electrical equipment;
  • Water systems; and
  • Fuel-connected equipment.

Some manufacturers condition portions of their warranty coverage upon proper installation or installation by a licensed, certified, or authorized professional.

Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable installation requirements before installing the product.

Improper or unauthorized installation may affect warranty coverage.

11. INSTALLATION RECORDS

For professionally installed equipment, customers should retain:

  • Installer invoices;
  • Installation date;
  • Installer name and contact information;
  • License or certification information where applicable;
  • Permits where applicable;
  • Inspection records; and
  • Maintenance documentation.

A manufacturer may request these records when reviewing a warranty claim.

12. MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

Some warranties require periodic maintenance.

Depending upon the product, maintenance may include:

  • Oil changes;
  • Filter replacement;
  • Battery maintenance;
  • Cleaning;
  • Inspection;
  • Software or firmware updates;
  • Winterization;
  • Fuel-system maintenance; or
  • Manufacturer-recommended servicing.

Failure to perform required maintenance may affect warranty coverage where permitted under the applicable warranty and law.

Customers should follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and retain applicable service records.

13. CONDITIONS GENERALLY NOT COVERED BY MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Warranty exclusions vary by manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranties may exclude conditions resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic damage;
  • Improper installation;
  • Improper maintenance;
  • Misuse or abuse;
  • Accidents;
  • Unauthorized modifications;
  • Unauthorized repairs;
  • Failure to follow operating instructions;
  • Incorrect electrical connections;
  • Improper voltage;
  • Improper fuel;
  • Environmental conditions outside product specifications;
  • Commercial use where the warranty covers residential use only;
  • Acts of nature; or
  • Other exclusions identified in the manufacturer’s warranty.

The manufacturer’s actual written warranty controls the determination of manufacturer warranty coverage.

14. SOLAR PANELS AND SOLAR EQUIPMENT

Solar equipment may include different types of manufacturer warranties.

Depending upon the manufacturer, these may include:

  • Product warranties;
  • Workmanship warranties;
  • Performance warranties;
  • Battery warranties;
  • Inverter warranties; or
  • Component-specific warranties.

A solar panel performance warranty, for example, may be different from a warranty covering physical manufacturing defects.

Customers should review the specific warranty terms for each component of a solar system.

15. BATTERIES AND POWER STATIONS

Battery and portable power-station warranties may contain requirements concerning:

  • Charge cycles;
  • Battery capacity;
  • Depth of discharge;
  • Operating temperatures;
  • Storage;
  • Charging equipment;
  • Commercial versus residential use; and
  • Other operating conditions.

Battery degradation occurring through normal use may be treated differently from a manufacturing defect.

The applicable manufacturer’s warranty determines coverage.

16. GENERATORS

Generator warranties may require specific installation, startup, maintenance, or service procedures.

Depending upon the manufacturer and model, warranty eligibility may be affected by:

  • Installation;
  • Fuel configuration;
  • Transfer-switch installation;
  • Startup procedures;
  • Maintenance intervals;
  • Oil and filter changes;
  • Authorized service requirements; or
  • Residential versus commercial use.

Please review your generator manufacturer’s warranty and maintenance schedule carefully.

17. MINI-SPLIT AND HVAC EQUIPMENT

Certain mini-split and HVAC manufacturers may require installation by appropriately licensed or qualified professionals for some or all warranty coverage.

Warranty requirements may also vary between equipment components, including:

  • Compressors;
  • Indoor units;
  • Outdoor units;
  • Electronic components; and
  • Other system parts.

Off Grid Palace does not represent that every HVAC product carries identical installation or warranty requirements.

18. SHIPPING DAMAGE IS DIFFERENT FROM A WARRANTY CLAIM

Products damaged during shipping should generally be handled as shipping-damage claims, rather than ordinary manufacturer warranty claims.

If your product arrives damaged, please follow the procedures in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

For freight shipments, inspect the shipment before signing whenever reasonably possible and document visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

Take photographs and retain all packaging.

Do not install equipment that appears to have been damaged during shipping.

19. RETURNS ARE DIFFERENT FROM WARRANTY CLAIMS

A warranty claim and a product return are not the same thing.

Returns because of a change of mind, incorrect product selection, or other non-defect reason are governed by our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

A product that develops a covered defect may instead be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty procedures.

The existence of a warranty claim does not automatically create a right to return the product to Off Grid Palace for a refund.

20. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

Depending upon the manufacturer’s warranty, an approved claim may result in:

  • Technical support;
  • Replacement parts;
  • Repair;
  • Replacement equipment;
  • Refurbished replacement equipment;
  • Credit;
  • Reimbursement; or
  • Another manufacturer-authorized remedy.

The specific remedy is determined according to the applicable warranty and applicable law.

21. LABOR COSTS

Some manufacturer warranties cover replacement parts but do not cover labor.

Others may cover certain labor costs under specified circumstances.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, customers should not assume that a manufacturer’s product warranty covers:

  • Installation labor;
  • Removal labor;
  • Diagnostic fees;
  • Technician travel;
  • Reinstallation;
  • Electrical work;
  • Plumbing work;
  • HVAC work; or
  • Other third-party service expenses.

Review the manufacturer’s warranty before authorizing third-party work if you expect reimbursement.

22. SHIPPING COSTS FOR WARRANTY SERVICE

Responsibility for shipping products or replacement components under warranty varies by manufacturer.

Some manufacturers may provide prepaid shipping while others may require the customer to pay certain transportation costs.

For large equipment, the manufacturer may use an authorized local service provider instead of requiring the product to be shipped.

The applicable manufacturer’s warranty controls these requirements.

23. REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS

If a manufacturer replaces a product under warranty, the replacement product may be:

  • New;
  • Refurbished;
  • Reconditioned; or
  • Functionally equivalent,

depending upon the manufacturer’s warranty terms and applicable law.

Warranty coverage for a replacement product may continue for the remaining original warranty period or another period specified by the manufacturer.

24. THIRD-PARTY INSTALLERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, independent installers, electricians, HVAC contractors, plumbers, generator technicians, and other service professionals are independent third parties and are not employees or agents of Off Grid Palace.

Off Grid Palace is not responsible for the workmanship of an independently selected installer or service provider except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Customers should independently verify appropriate licensing, insurance, qualifications, and experience when selecting contractors.

25. OFF GRID PALACE ASSISTANCE

Although many warranties are administered directly by manufacturers, Off Grid Palace wants to help customers navigate the process.

Where appropriate, we may assist by:

  • Providing proof of purchase;
  • Identifying the manufacturer;
  • Locating warranty information;
  • Providing manufacturer contact information;
  • Communicating with a supplier or manufacturer;
  • Providing available product records; or
  • Helping identify the appropriate warranty process.

Our assistance does not guarantee that a manufacturer will approve a claim.

Warranty eligibility and remedies remain subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and applicable law.

26. NO ADDITIONAL RETAILER WARRANTY UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED

Unless expressly provided in writing for a specific product, Off Grid Palace does not create a separate product warranty in addition to warranties provided by manufacturers.

Product descriptions, customer-service communications, marketing materials, or general Website information should not be interpreted as creating an additional warranty beyond any warranty expressly provided in writing.

This provision does not disclaim or limit warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Manufacturer warranties provide rights in addition to any rights that may be available under applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of warranties or remedies.

Accordingly, portions of a manufacturer’s warranty or this Policy may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

28. WARRANTY INFORMATION ON PRODUCT PAGES

Off Grid Palace may provide warranty summaries on individual product pages for convenience.

Where a Website summary differs from the manufacturer’s current written warranty, we will work to correct any error brought to our attention, and the manufacturer’s applicable written warranty will generally govern manufacturer-provided coverage, subject to applicable law and any express representations made in connection with the sale.

We encourage customers purchasing high-value equipment to review the complete manufacturer warranty before ordering.

29. CHANGES TO THIS WARRANTY POLICY

Off Grid Palace may update this Warranty Policy periodically to reflect changes in our products, manufacturers, suppliers, business practices, or applicable requirements.

Updates will be posted on the Website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Product-specific manufacturer warranties remain subject to the terms applicable to the particular product.
